Zachary earned his Bachelor of Commerce (B․Comm․)with the University of Toronto in 2011, his dual Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) designation in 2014, and his Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation in 2025.  In 2016, Zachary completed CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program (IDTP)—the leading program in Canada for certifying Canadian Income Tax Specialists.

Over the course of his career, Zachary has held progressive leadership roles with some of the top accounting, consulting and advisory firms in Canada, including KPMG and PwC. Zachary was also a Tax Partner with a small regional firm in Ontario. Prior to joining TD, Zachary was Senior Director of Planning Services at PPI, Canada’s largest Managing General Agency (“MGA”) to independent advisors for life insurance. Zachary’s professional experience includes Tax M&A, divestitures, tax planning & advisory, corporate reorganizations, business succession & estate planning, life insurance, and private wealth.

In his role at TD Wealth, Zachary works with TD’s high-net-worth clients and their teams of advisors supporting to design, develop and optimize a tax-efficient business succession plan. Whether their plans include preparing for the sale of a business to an existing partner or a completely new buyer, preparing for the transfer of a family business to the next generation, or minimizing estate taxes at death in connection with their private company shares, Zach looks forward to collaborating and bringing his professional experience and know-how into a client’s unique situation to drive value to the client’s overall business succession planning.
