Come hear fellow WWEPC member Zach Bronstein discuss an overview of trusts and estates then review common post-mortem tax planning techniques including 164(6) loss-carryback planning and pipeline planning. He will also provide an update on recent CRA rulings.

Zach is a Senior Tax Manager in the Enterprise Tax Practice at KPMG LLP out of the Waterloo office where he advises clients with respect to all matters of domestic income tax planning, with a focus on estate tax planning and acquisition and divestiture tax planning to optimize his clients’ tax result. He was admitted to membership as a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Professional Accountant since 2014 and has been practicing Tax since 2011. During his career he has worked at various mid-size and Big Four accounting firms, as well as in industry.

Following the presentation, there will be some announcements and participants on the Zoom meeting will be divided into breakout rooms so you can socialize in a smaller group.
