Erin MacKenzie is a “recovered” lawyer and a co-founder of Lighthouse Registry, which is a platform to help prevent elder financial abuse. Erin started her career practicing estate litigation but ultimately made the decision to leave private practice and found Lighthouse Registry after being shocked by the many cases of elder financial abuse she witnessed in her practice and by how few protections there were in place to actually prevent them. She has over 10 years of experience as a lawyer and a management consultant with companies such as BCG and TD Bank as well as in the startup world. Outside of Lighthouse Registry, Erin spends her summers training for triathlons and her winters skiing every chance she can get.
